Nearly ready for Wimbledon!

this morning I decided to cycle to Wimbledon early to look at the decorations on the shops etc in Wimbledon Village and also cycle by the tennis courts too.  It was very busy there with loads of big lorrys delivering food etc and a long queue of people ( at first I thought they were queuing for tickets) of staff who had to go through accreditation. I expect some were having training etc.
In the village I was underwhelmed by the shop decorations compared to previous years. So many artificial flowers and less creativity related to tennis. See the extra which I liked!

I had a relaxing afternoon and watched the women’s tennis finals from Eastbourne and then some of the Tour de France..I did not realise this had started as it’s earlier this year due to the Olympics.

Warm but pleasant but still need to do lots of watering. Went to visit a friend who is a keen gardener and was amazed at how her garden looks..I am in charge of watering it next weekend when she is away!
