Crayfish Festival

Invited by Göran and Margreth to the Festival do Lagostim in their village. (Looked up lagostim, and pretty sure it's a crayfish, caught in the Guadiana River, tough invasive species and no danger of overfishing.) Six euros for a plateful (grilled, fried or boiled), with toast, floating in lemony butter, and half a euro for a glass of chilled wine. As Göran said, you use more calories getting the meat out than you get from eating them. But great fun.

We listened to some Cante on the stage, but then the skies darkened, and it tipped down - the shelters were for sun, not rain, so we got pretty wet, and decided to head for home.

Gratefuls:
- more rain, and more cool weather, just amazing
- Mike driving back to find the keys I'd dropped outside our gate, and that they were still there
