Some colourful plants from the garden

The Feast Day of Saint Peter and Paul.
I listened to an excellent Holy Mass from Portlaoise in Ireland. They are called St Peter and Paul 's Catholic Church and stream Mass through Shalom World on YouTube.
It is rainy, cloudy and 19c, but better than a heatwave. The cats have been in and out of the garden, playing happily.

The photo is a tribute to our dear cat Arthur who was put to sleep on this date in 2022. Greatly missed for his loving kindness and often remembered. He was a special tom cat companion.

The flowers are left to right, an orange calendula, a bell flower, like a miniature petunia, a pink dianthus, yellow potentilla flowers, a yellow osteospermum and a deep sapphire cornflower.

It is also Norman's birthday, the gentleman from whom we bought this house. We remain friends with him and Betty who live nearby.

I have been indoors since my morning walk to the canal, as it is showery. I also went to buy a small honeysuckle fragrance candle and 5 flowerpots for £2. Many seedlings need up potting now. I was fortunate to get home before it poured down. It is hard to know which coat to wear even though it is late June. I always put a
brolly in my shopping bag these days.

I am watching Father Brown, a favourite series of mine. On BBC 4 at 8pm Keane are on at Glastonbury. Paul and me hope to be watching them. Big fans of their music.

Paul has been constructing a cat climbing frame in the conservatory for Hunter and Holly. It looks good and we hope they enjoy lots of fun using it.

It is a very rainy evening but there is plenty to do indoors, so no worries.

That's all for now blip friends. Enjoy a good Saturday and thank you for dropping by.
