Beautiful peach rose
The Feast Day of Saint Irenaeus of Lyons.
He said : "The things we learned in childhood are part of our soul."
This morning is a cool 19.7c indoors and it is raining. I am happy enough with this less intense weather.
I have done all my morning tasks and been out to deliver a birthday card to the man, who with his dear wife, sold us this house, nearly a year ago. They live within a short walk.
The beautiful peach rose in the photo today, was one of the many much appreciated plants they left in the garden. I call it Betty's rose in honour of the lady who lived here with her husband for 40 years. There are several well established hydrangea shrubs, azaleas and three beautiful roses.
The wind was so strong over night, it has knocked down the wooden bird table.
It is changeable, gusty weather, so we shall see how it unfolds as the day goes on.
Thank you for your much appreciated kind comments blip friends and for visiting my site today.
