Beinn Alligin
Great days' walking - we managed both Munros of Beinn Alligin ... couldn't see a thing from the tops, but it didn't diminish a thoroughly enjoyable outing :-)
'All-weather gear' required from the start, and our navigation-skills were definitely put to the test along the ridge!
Main snap shows Upper Loch Torridon, as we made our initial ascent; 1st extra is the famous 'Eag Dubh' (or Black Cleft) which you come upon just before the second top - thankfully there's an easy bypass path!; 2nd extra is a wild mountain orchid we spotted on our descent; 3rd extra the waterfalls right at the end of the walk, which certainly indicates the amount of water that was around!
A quiet Hostel-evening awaits :-)
