View from the 44th floor

The second session in the office passed nicely enough. Several people have already left for their summer holidays. Today was the last day in the office before the summer truly begins, so an outing has been planned in the evening to celebrate three upcoming birthdays and to say goodbye to one of our team members.

The 44 Sports Bar at the Hilton was chosen. I was so pleased I took my new camera with me as the views from the 44th floor are spectacular. I took several pictures but chose the one that shows the JW Marriott hotel (on the left) and the Canal, which effectively made Bur Dubai an island when it was completed a few years ago.

My extra sums up the evening. It was fun to hang out with work colleagues. During the time in the office, everyone is so busy there is rarely time to chat. The bar had a snooker table and two bowling lanes, which the younger team members had a go at.

I got home before 10 PM and crashed out on the sofa! G said she enjoyed a quiet evening on her own, eating fish!
