One day at a time

Close

A rare view of two jacks (the white balls) close together on adjacent rinks.
This happened because of the special rule in place for President's Day at the bowls club. We were playing a Roving Jack today. In normal games the jack is cast by the lead player and centred on an imaginary line in the centre of the rink by the skip at the other end. Today the jack wasn't centred - just for fun - and these two jacks were cast close to the edge of the rink near to each other. So the skips look concerned about where their team members' bowls will end up. If they stray on to the next rink they must be removed before they hit a bowl on the other rink. Suzanne shows where she wants her team mate to deliver the bowl.
Thank you for the many stars and hearts of late. So kind of you.
