Wound up in Wexford

Blondies

In the morning, we took a yet another trip to the garden centre.  We had specific plants on our list this time.  Persicaria ground cover for the side of the rill was the main one.  And after Arclight's blip in the morning, giant clover.

We came away with the persicaria and a couple of alstroemeria plants.  No giant clover, unfortunately.  Subsequent research online found very few of the places that have a website were stocking it in Ireland.

It rained all day, so the plants were left on the patio to await some improvement in the weather.

In the afternoon W got the cooking urge and produced a white chocolate version of brownies, which are apparently called blondies.  They were very tasty.  I did some cross stitching.  In the evening we listened to a concert on the Berlin Philharmonic Concert Hall, though W was not fully engaged as he was following the Germany v Denmark match online.  So when the concert finished, we watched the end of the match.
