The inevitable baskets

(And I bought one!)

Markets tend to become a way of life when we are living here. Today it was Duras, a small town close to us, with a big château and set on a rocky outcrop, so with fine views of the countryside around. A few things were bought and we had coffee and then we returned to our house.

It is very warm but we have plenty of shade here. I relish the light. We are enjoying cooking with all the fresh produce and it is great to be able to eat all our meals outside. Seems to be football again tonight so I am off outside and we will eat later.
