Knowlton Church.

Last one from our short trip to Dorset. Nobody knows why a 12th century Norman church ( the tower was added in the 15th century) was built in the middle of a Neolithic earthwork known as a Henge and estimated from around 3000- 2000 BC .
Thankfully English Heritage preserved it.
