Nail biting finish

Wow. What an end to the day! I lost track of time, so we got too late to McCafferty's to watch the England vs Slovakia match. There was one table left, located right under a screen. It was a relief when we could move to a table with a better view because the guests left.

Talk about keeping you holding on until the last minute! Bellingham and Kane saved the day and made England's fans proud. What a relief it didn't go into penalties. So, now I have to find a suitable place to watch the England vs Switzerland match.

Before that, there was talk of going out in the morning (as we have a hire car), but we stayed home. I caught an interesting documentary about Somalia/piracy on the History Channel and got some part of the way ready for a new week.
