Rabbit, Rabbit,Rabbit

The Mono Monday theme is " Superstition".  As its the first of the month I immediately thought of the superstition of saying " Rabbit, Rabbit, Rabbit " first thing in the morning on the first day of a new month ... this is supposed to bring you good luck for the rest of the month. ( Some people say " white rabbits"). Luckily I had some rabbit ornaments to use for my blip.  Thanks to JacZero for hosting

My Mam would always say " a pinch and a punch for the first of the month "... for Good Luck. She and my Grandma were very superstitious... break a mirror = 7 years bad luck, don't walk under a ladder - that's bad luck, spill salt - you have to throw some over your shoulder or else bad luck comes your way, don't put new shoes on the table -- bad luck again.
 
Made a slow start to the day.  The weather was cold and rainy so I was in no rush to leave the house.  I did stir myself in the end to get the bus to Lidl.  Had a good shopping trip. The rain had stopped by the time I was coming home but it was still damp and cold.  I actually had the heating on for a while this evening.  Hopefully the weather will turn nice again soon... it is July after all.
