getting the needle

Anniemay saw a knee specialist today.  In non-medical parlance, her knee is what is known as 'knackered'.  

Here she's having an injection in order to try and alleviate some of the pain she's currently enduring.  Her expression here, is not so much to do with the needle - it's more the realisation that I've just got my Blip for the day.

It'll take up to 6 weeks to work.  Or not.

We'll worry about that later.  In the meantime she's being very brave.
