Fungi Evolution

This is the fourth variety of fungi on the stump this year.  I believe this one is a variety of Oyster Mushroom.  I've been watching it evolve the last few days.  The last photo looks like a ballerina's dress to me.  (The song "Little Dancer" by Elton John springs to mind.) Quite the transformation.  Another beautiful day; perfect for a ride up to North Conway.  I am meeting with my surgeon this afternoon to get the last bit of information on my surgery which is set for July 29th.
