Not a Pretty Picture
This is the computer diagram for my knee replacement surgery. When my knee was operated on 62 years ago after a fall (off the bleachers at a football game!) there were no computers naturally and they just went in and removed the meniscus cartilage. I was in a cast for 6 weeks. That began the story. (Of course, a horseback riding accident and other assorted injuries to the knee made things worse and worse.) I will be doing my first PT a few hours after the surgery this time; no cast just a large adhesive patch essentially. Times really have changed...for the better. I met with the surgeon and his assistant. Wonderful people. I have 3 more pre-op visits before the day of surgeon. It will be a very busy July.
