RHS Bridgewater
I’ve been lucky enough to visit this magnificent garden each year for three years. The garden was designed by Tom Stuart-Smith, famous and very successful with gold awards from Chelsea etc, and he stays in touch, visiting them to make sure they have kept to his vision.
My blip is of the new temple, built in China, and carefully rebuilt in the Chinese Streamside Garden. The plants have developed magnificently and the path to the top lake, which two years ago was only nicely placed rocks and artists impressions on easels, is now breathtaking.
There are a further three pagodas due to be installed this year. This is a magical place which gets better and better.
It was designed with the latest ecologically wise techniques and the guides and other staff work with obvious enthusiasm and pride. Yes. A very special place.
