Key to When?

I had been wanting to take a photo of this key for a few days now, after being inspired by another blipper, but I couldn't quite figure out how I wanted to compose it. So today I grabbed a couple of other necklaces I like wearing and drape them on a tree...

I love old keys, there's something so mysterious about them - I'd love to know what lock this one opened, and when it last opened (or indeed locked) it... I have a couple that I bought in an antique shop in Reykjavik, but I got this one plus a little tiny one at a second-hand market in Oslo (maybe I should try looking closer to home as well..!). I've taken to wearing this one around my neck recently, hence the lace on it.
