Marguerites
When we finished cleaning the lodge I had a look around the garden for a blip. I must say, the "wildflower meadow" isn't working out quite like I thought. I suppose it's still early days and we didn't do a good job of clearing the grass.
Anyhow, I love seeing these marguerites coming up each year. We didn't actually plant these, they just sprang up in the neglect of Covid-19.
I love white flowers and I love the composite daisy types so I have a winner here. Its scientific name is Argyranthemum frutescens in the Order of asterales, and it's very like the cultivated leucanthemum . However its scientific name is leucanthemum in the Order of daisy.
It beats me how they can be so similar, I love them both.
