Alder cutting, Bovonne

Conservation morning at Bovonne. After a 30 minute walk in the high pasture, we then stacked huge branches of Alder (see blip photo) that had previously been cut. The idea is to clear away sections of this invasive species to help the survival of Black Grouse in the area. Very rewarding but hard work.
