Oil rig and poppies

A cloudy day again but dry for most of it. Went down to Newhall point for a walk and to see the poppies. A man was tending to the patch so we went for a walk along the front. The Jewel of the sea cruise ship was in and looked good when the sun did shine through.
One of the fields had about 100 oyster catchers in it . It had recently been mowed so there must have been some tasty grubs to eat.
On to Cromarty for a pizza. Interesting clouds gathered above the Sutors and a small boat with some fishermen were gathering creels.
More Tennis and football in the afternoon. Turkey played a good game and won. A lot of their players have yellow cards and will miss their next match though.
