I see......icy

Had the van heater going all night and woke a couple of times feeling rather warm.  Nice to know it was doing its job.  Woke just before my alarm and crawled out of bed to a cosy van........a peek outside though told me that it was warm inside because it *wasn't* frosty outside.  Off then to seek out a nice sunrise spot.  Turned out that event was a bit of a fizzer, not helped by the crystal clear blue skies which, whilst beautiful, don't yield good sunrise/sunsets.  Edges of the water however offered a lot of potential for some closeup ice patterns.......being very careful not to slip in to the pond I managed a few shots that I rather liked.  Another cruisey day in absolutely beautiful weather.  Not exactly what I came here for, but in the absence of a hoar frost I'll happily accept warm sunshine and blue skies.
