Knife Angel

The sun has done a disappearing act again! A rather Autumnal day today, but thankfully less rain than yesterday!

We had to go to Southend this morning for a few bits and I also got to see the impressive Knife Angel that is currently on display for the month of July.  Standing at 27 feet tall, weighing 3.5 tonnes and made up of 100,000 knives and blades that were surrendered to and confiscated by police forces up and down the country.  It's been touring the UK since 2019 and made for a sobering sight.  I just hope the anti-knife message gets through to the right people.
