Early This Winter Morning

……Maisie is standing still beside the ponded area of the Taylor River. She is staring across to the opposite bank. There is a pair of Paradise Shellducks making quite a racket and pulling faces at Maisie. She has decided that discretion is the better part of valour and the morning is far too cold and frosty for a rush through the water to the noisy Shellducks. Good decision Maisie!
We had the coldest and frostiest morning also far this year. Beautiful but cold.
