Winter Sunlight.

The distant Wither Hills were lit up with magical light just as the sun came up. Sunrise at 7.50am. Sunrise was at 7.51am yesterday. So Yay! The days are just starting to get longer. One minute at a time.
Another frost this morning. Not quite as heavy as the last two days. We dog-walkers are all dressed up in countless layers. Merino is best. Some dogs are wearing smart coats as well.
I had a friend deliver another four big bags of nice clean pine cones this morning. They are excellent fire starters and throw out a lot of lovely heat.
