Archie casts his vote

A brisk wind today brought the temperature down to a heady 14°!! It’s July! Has the Gulf Stream not got the memo about Global Warming??

Later, we all walked round to vote. I must say, it’s been nice that the morning radio was devoid of politicians and political talk. I suspect they’re all sleeping for as much of the day as they can, then pulling an all-nighter. Though political talk about other countries (USA and France) was interesting.

We met Maggie and her dad. The dogs seemed to have a bit of a confab about the goings on, but couldn’t really care less who wins.

Archie and JR walked all the way to the vet to pick up his bi monthly worming pills. They managed there and back between showers. While I watched the tennis. An excellent ladies match between British numbers 1&2. And now it’s between the top two British male players. Pity I have to wait for the replays of shots to actually see the ball… At times, I perched on the coffee table - much better!

Eye (no obligation) consultation tomorrow.
