Goodbye Sarah Bernhardt
I love working in the garden as the sun starts to set over the Irish Sea. Plants seem to be given a spotlight almost randomly and I dropped my weed bucket and hoe and snapped the ‘chosen ones’! I chose Paeonia Sarah Bernhardt as I had just been deadheading that shrub and sadly regretting that the Paeonias were almost over for this year. This last flower, though, looked as fresh and delicate as the first and the low sunset light created a mystical aura which reminded me to be grateful and joyful about the last flower as well as surprised and delighted by the first.
