Cold As Ice . . . Foreigner
Today we drove down to Christchurch. Our usual stopping point is this tarn at the top of the Lewis Pass. Today the surface is frozen. It wasn't actually that cold because the sun was out and there was no wind. I did have a hat gloves on. The icy surface in the extra.
We are in Christchurch to help the lovely daughter celebrate her zero birthday. She has flown down to party with her Christchurch friends. I hope we can keep up. Tonight just the three of us took a walk around the central city looking for our dinner. Our hotel is just off Catherdral Square and i am enjoying being in the city.
