A good year for thistles, as well as foxgloves. Lots flowering along the roadsides as MrM and I walked into Holmfirth via a more-scenic route than usual. I just wanted to post a card; MrM was quite keen to have tea and cake but we'd left it too late for that - most of the cafés had already closed for the day...
