Protest

Today the professional gardener sorted out the bit of hedge at the end of the garden.  He also cut a lot of overgrown ivy and shrubs.  It looks quite stark.  

The noise was phenomenal.  I really cannot cope with whining machines.  I had to go to town so managed to escape some of it.  While in town serendipitously bumped into my friend Anna.  We went for coffee and a welcome catch-up.  Some how the subject of the election never arose.  Probably as we'd had enough of it.

Saw these Trinity College protesters on my way home.

It's raining now and looks like a damp weekend.
