Happy birthday dad xx

He would have been 92 today and would have wanted to know all about my van trip.   He was a caravanner himself but the essence is the same......a sense of adventure in relative comfort away from home........ not sure he'd have been keen on a mid- winter trip though!

Been feeling a bit jaded today and haven't even got out of the van.   Pretty sure I'll be good to go again by tomorrow though...... I also know a good hoar frost would do the trick.  Not looking likely though but I guess you just never know. 

As you can see,  I'm not the only crazy who vans in one of the coldest areas of NZ in the depths of winter!
