The Feast Day of Saint Maria Goretti. Virgin. Martyr.

We have had a great mix of weather and it is not yet 1pm!

I awoke to a cloudy, drizzly start, so had to wear my long raincoat and carry my tartan umbrella.

After breakfast and my morning tasks, I went to visit my friend Lynn and it was warm and sunny. Her garden is looking beautiful.

I bought two Gardening Magazines and walked home.

We got our first five pound note with an image of King Charles on it.

I said the Rosary and then followed online Mass.

Then I had my lunch and the sun was shining again.

The Catholic primary school is having their Summer Fair and on Facebook have invited the community to come, in rain or shine!!

There was heavy rain and a roll of thunder an hour ago.

Hunter is not delighted Paul and me keep him indoors when the weather is rainy. He went out earlier during the sunny interval.

A relaxing Saturday with reading, crochet and watching films.
