Raining
JC and No.1 decided on an impromptu few days in Norfolk. A friend has a holiday home which they have been offered ( a previous colleague who always had friends with holiday homes around the world described it as ‘inter-poncing’ which made me smile!). JC was driving from Bucks and No,1 had been in Kent so we decided on a half way meeting point. They headed off to Norfolk and I drove back to Kent. It was peeing down all the way and didn’t let up all afternoon. I spoke to my sister L on my way home (she spoke, I listened) but I was really sad and tearful I just wanted a lovely sunny week and a change of circumstances for No.1. The sun came out when I got back so I had a few hours in the garden deadheading and pottering - trying to do a reset with positive thoughts.
