Steamer Steps

A day of mixed weather but mainly sunny.  I went for a walk and coffee with a friend around Budleigh.  We browsed in several shops, had a coffee and then went for a walk along the beach.  It was fairly windy but still sunny.  The clouds were moving quickly and we managed to get a little wet in a short shower but it didn't last more than a few minutes.  An enjoyable morning.

Late afternoon I decided to go to a local garden centre for some grow bags for all the extra tomatoes I seem to have this year.  I was also looking for some extra vegetables such as leeks.  I managed to find one strip of leeks but they looked very bedraggled so I headed to another garden centre.  The second one had sold out of all its vegetable plants so I returned to the first only to find the one strip of leeks had gone.  I did sow some seeds some time ago but not many of them germinated.  The tomato plants were replanted though so that's good.
