Street Fair

The weather did eventually settle after blustery showers so all was not lost for the village street fair.  There was so much to do and see - Morris dancers, a folk band, plant stalls, other stalls, games, face painting, dog show, homemade food in the village hall, local craft display in the church, drum majorettes from a local school .....  We couldn't park in the allotted field as it had been flooded over night so we parked in a lumpy cattle-trodden field near a farmyard and not one car got stuck!  It was a change not having to listen for traffic flowing through as the road was closed so a totally relaxed and fun day out.
