Not my day

Picked the worst Saturday in the Calendar to visit Glasgow as far as travel is concerned. Arrived in time to pop round the corner to get my next bus to the West End. Just as it was due to arrive we were informed to move to another bus stop. Some confusion, roads closed, bus stops closed. So after waiting, I decided to get a train.
Assured all was well and train was due to arrive in 5 mins. Perfect. No, due to shortage of staff and technically issues it was only going 1 stop! I was assured the next train, in 8 minutes would travel the 4 stations I needed. Off we went - no- 3 stops! So then I decided just walk the rest of the way. So my half hour journey took an hour and half! .
No bother with bus back into city centre except for temporary traffic lights at Charing Cross- very slow.
Then bus home got stuck while the early morning cause of bus stop closures decided to make their return back from Glasgow Green.
It reminds me of home listening to the bands. Think I have only ever seen the Orange Walks in Glasgow! Quite remarkable considering I lived in NI for 28 years.
