A day of mixed weather, rain showers, sun, not so windy

A busy day, shower, hair wash and breakfast.  Then some dusting, followed by coffee and cooking.  Baked two cakes, new recipes to me and also made a chicken pie with yesterday's leftovers.  I liked all of them, some of the cakes have gone into the freezer but some will no doubt be eaten in the next few days as my son is staying with me.  
This afternoon the ladies came round for tea and chat, I went in the car to collect them in case of a rain shower/downpour.  Nice time as usual.  K and I had dinner and then went for a walk.  I took both shots on the walk.
