A Different Kind of Bird
We were driving home from church and lunch when I spotted the Thunderbird. As Lisa asked..."Why are you turning around?", I doubled back for the shot.
Some stats on the car.
1. It is a 2004 Pacific Coast Roadster.
2. It is #406 of only 1000 made.
3. On the odometer? 27,000 miles.
4. It can be yours for $29,500.
While it is my picture of the day, I missed THE picture of the day. I was sitting on "the throne" upstairs when I heard Lisa scream...downstairs.
She took a step out our back door (letting the dog out), when something "landed" on her head. A squirrel had leapt off of our roof, and used her noggin as a springboard to leap onto a large shrub. WHAT?
By the time I got downstairs, she stammered..."A...SQUIRREL...JUST...JUMPED...ON...MY...HEAD! IT...WAS...A...SQUIRREL!"
You know those times in your life when you should find out if a person is hurt before you break into a giggle or a laugh? Sorry to say...I didn't and neither did our friends Bobby and Linda at lunch when she retold the story.
I think she is all right, but...12 hours later, she says she can still feel where the little claws dug into her skull, and she thinks that the little acrobat drew blood. Yikes.
