Summer hues
The last couple of days of heat and sunshine has had a pretty amazing effect on the garden. We were late this year getting the bedding plants and patio pots filled but by Jove they have made up for lost time. Almost every species is doing well, but especially the fuchsias and begonias, which between them are creating a riot of colour. I buy a lot of my plants from the Council's nursery at Aden Park. The downside is that while you recognise the species they are rarely labelled so it's a big surprise when you see what you've got. And in the case of these fuchsias a very pleasant surprise!
This spell of weather looks set to continue for another few days, so expect some more garden blips from me! Happy blipping!
