Our view

This is the view from our aptly named apartment in York - Waterside. We are here for the weekend to take in the mediaeval mystery wagon plays on Sunday. Our son-in-law and his dad are members of the York Butchers' Guild who will pull one of the wagons on Sunday with an re-enactment of the crucifixion, a tradition that's been carried out for many, many years. We are looking forward to it! Especially if the weather is kind to us. Tonight we ate out on the deck on a balmy windless evening, a great start to our weekend.
