Everyday I Write The Book

16 days#6: Changed reality

The Dizzle came back from his first night of clubbing with a bunch of Maltese girls at 1.15 this morning, so by the time we had settled him with water and instructions on how to deal with a hangover it was nearly two o'clock. Then he texts me at 6.00 to say he is down on the beach watching the sun come up over St George's  Bay. I  stagger sleepily down to meet him and we photograph the sunrise but it is clear the Jaeger Bombs are still controlling his physiology so it is some time after a bit of early morning shopping for munchies before he gets to sleep.

So we left him sleeping and TSM and I went off to Marsaloxx and blipped this the oldest traditional Maltese fishing boat still afloat but soon destined for a museum. Shot courtesy of the lovely Gino a local fisherman who took us out on his boat for four euros each and gave us a lot of really interesting history. Bought a really nice embroidered tablecloth on a waterfront stall and drank the local beer in a very hot sun.

More pool chilling and eating out later - traditional holiday fayre - but lack of sleep catching up with me now ...
