Grey Heron

There were 5 Heron around today, the little female (pictured), the adult male, Hyde, the male with the dark patch and one other. There were also 3 coots, at 2 locations, one with the older fledgling and one with a slightly younger chick. I am pretty convinced that there is a second late batch of heron chicks at the other side of the loch. They were making a real racket this morning.
