It's a Millport kinda day!

Ethan and I were supposed to be going over to Beith after his swimming lesson this morning. Only, when we turned up at the pool we found out it was closed due to a "poo in the pool" incident the night before! So we headed to Beith earlier than planned, which pleased Ethan!

My American cousin, Roxanne, is still staying there with my parents. Ethan thawed out quite quickly around her today and seemed to like being with her.

We all went over to Largs, had lunch in Nardini's cafe (where I had my first Saturday job as a 17 year old) and then got the ferry over to Millport. We didn't hire bikes this time but just meandered round Millport, the playpark, scrambled over the rocks and checked out the rockpools. It was such a hot day today - a perfect day for being over there.

It was after 7pm by the time we got the ferry back to Largs - where did the day go! By the time we got back to Beith, Ethan had got 2nd wind and I didn't manage to get him to sleep till after 10pm!
