Beautiful Portugese town. The first time we visited in early June the trees round the square were laden with oranges. It was near here that Pope John Paul was stabbed at the shrine of Fatima. We visited there a long time ago. On this occasion we've stayed at a really quirky hotel. Lots of interesting furnishings, including this old typewriter, and a very boisterous brown, spotty dog.
