Narbonne

Today we went by train to Narbonne. It was so hot 33 degrees!! We found the unfinished church and walked around it and the cloisters and gardens. We had to walk a long way to find a seat in the shade to eat our lunch. By that time we were so hot and exhausted that we went for a cool lager and caught the train back to Carcasonne. The family are still positive for Covid so tomorrow night we’ll spend in Toulouse and hope that we can at least go to stay with them for the weekend!
