Yellow (Day 3348)

Where did the nice weather go? After yesterday's warmth and sunshine, we were back to our usual summer weather - cold, wet and breezy.
I headed off first thing to sort a leak from a shower, which was tricky to access and involved squeezing into a fairly awkward space.
Next a trip into town to look at a leaky basin, which wouldn't have been leaking if the previous installer hadn't bodged the waste trap together. The customer asked me to have a look at a problem with the waste from his washing machine. Every time the washing machine emptied, it overflowed from the waste pipe. I suspected a blockage, which I confirmed by checking the drainage from the kitchen sink. I tried to access the blockage from inside the cupboard under the sink, but the waste pipe came apart under the floor. There ensued a long battle to get carpet and old lino out of the way, lift floorboards and access the unbelievably cramped space under the floor. A job I had expected to take an hour took five. I did manage to clear the blockage and get everything together again, but it was a nightmare.
I visited another potential customer on the way home to have a look at a job they are needing done in a bit of a hurry. I should manage to squeeze them in.
Back home blipless I took a snap of my beautiful wife's flowers.
