Wild Wednesday ...

... And Silly Saturday results.

Since getting this new camera I've been desperate to see any ruby-throated hummingbirds in order to try out it's focusing ability.  But haven't really seen any until the past couple of days.  I saw one yesterday but wasn't quick enough to capture her. 

Until today when I was in the pool floating around!  Richard had come out with me and was sitting with his legs in when he informed me that there was a hummer on the honeysuckle!  And to think I almost didn't swim today!  I'm so glad that I braved the heat and humidity to spend a few minutes swimming.  Thanks to Cailleach for keeping Wednesday's wild! I've added another shot into Extras.  And please have a look at this lovely ruby-throated hummingbird full screen.
