Firth of Forth
I woke up feeling a bit rough again, totally congested with no energy. I had a slow morning, and felt brighter as the day went on.
I eventually hung my washing out, and then the rain came on. Howe very annoying. TT was on lunch. BB hadn’t surfaced by the time TT and I headed out. He said he wasn’t feeling fabulous either.
The weather had improved significantly, so we went out to ta local nursery for a couple of things. We then went for a walk at the nature reserve at Aberlady. Although there were lots of cars in the car park, we hardly met a soul. We could see rain all around us, but amazingly we stayed dry. It was a lovely walk, but we couldn’t linger as TT had to be home for a football match. We got back just in time, as I took my washing in, just before a massive downpour.
I was on tea, but discovered we were missing a vital ingredient – potatoes, so I had to pop out to get some.
There was lots of tension, with the match going to extra time and penalties. TT was relieved with the result, BB wasn’t emotionally involved in it, but did stay to watch it, rather than going to the gym as he had planned.
This is the view looking across to Fife from Aberlady Beach. The extra is looking back towards Edinburgh.
