On the way to school

I have such a short walk to school there aren't that many really nice yards that I pass by. This one is really lovely, though. The house and fence are pretty too. The little flower garden is between the fence and sidewalk and is bursting with variety. Bachelor buttons and California Poppies are vibrant right now but soon those sunflowers are going to be excellent.
Today is Wyoming Statehood Day, We were admitted as the 44th state in 1890. They do a big fundraiser called Wyo Gives for about 370 non-profits around the state. It has a good turnout. I pledged to both the Laramie Plains Civic Center and Pilot Hill Trails. Both things I love to use.
