Well I was pleased to be back altho I do always enjoy THC but was a bit surprised when a Jack Russell climbed into Suzz along with ME this morning. The Boss promptly lifted him out.
It was inversion central this morning and various opportunities presented themselves BUT it wasn't until The Boss and I went walking with The Boss's old 8mp Canon Ixus (several years old but still good) that things started to percolate, being evening and all, and The Boss was pleased as he had decided that he would go with acyclinggranny sno shoeing on the moro and take the aforementioned camera. It's a brave Boss that takes a several years old Canon Ixus 8 Mp when the world is being offered a full frame SLR and trolly to carry it. The state of the camera market is probably the most interesting it has been for a while with the concept of micro 4/3rd cameras strongly questioning the need or desirability of a camera based on a standard of the past (35mm film size). Folk with a large lens collections may dispute this but hey...look at what happened to mobile phones.

The old Ixus was re-discovered in a cupboard and with the battery recharged it proceeded to take pictures. As The Bossess is showing and proving a growing interest in pictures he wanted to encourage her so The Ixus is all set on Auto and will go a lot better than her iPhone 4 and still drop into a bag. AND does Macro AND has I.S. as well.

Evenings about the lake are Grrreat fun but chilly.
