Before the football. I half-watch, in a consistently negative kind of way then find myself full of joy when England win. Then sad to see the others looking so woebegone . Played tennis surprisingly well in the morning. Spent afternoon in a frenzy of messaging, which seemed to leave me with slightly more to do at the end than at the start.
